Judging criteria:

• Newsletter must clearly indicate the club name and number, meeting location and meeting time. Include the date published, and prominently list the name of the issue editor and contact information. (Each Newsletter can have a different editor).
• Newsletter must include an invitation to guest to visit the club.
• Members and the Editor should submit articles (CL Manual Projects 6 and 10).
• The name and contact information of who potential members can contact, must be displayed.
• Newsletter must clearly state if there is a company or organization which sponsors the club.
• Any item(s) that is reprinted from other sources must be cited.
• Newsletter should be informative and entertaining while being comprised of proper sentence structure, spelling, punctuation and grammar.
• Content must be educational and focused on promoting the club its members and enhancing Toastmasters.
• Layout and presentation should incorporate effective balance of space, graphics and articles.
• Newsletter must also include a link to the Club website and any Club Facebook or Social Media group.
• Pictures are worth a thousand words.
• All links listed in the Newsletter must be in working order.

  District 16 will award 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners, $100, $75, and $50 Toastmasters International Product Gift Certificates, respectively

  Awards will be presented at the D16 Spring Conference May 2-3, 2014, at the Wyndham Hotel, Tulsa, OK.

  To enter a club must have prepared minimum of (2) newsletters between November 1, 2013 and April 18, 2014. Submit (2) newsletters simultaneously attached to your entry email. Indicate which Newsletter is to be judged for the competition. List the Club Name, Number and a contact person in the email.
